Colonial Kitchen is a quick-serve pizza restaurant that provides affordable, high-quality food, a homemade selection of desserts, and an inviting atmosphere for every guest. Over time, Colonial Kitchen has established itself as a “destination” of choice for many loyal patrons as well as numerous out-of-town visitors.

Primarily a take-out and delivery pizza parlor that also offers dine-in service, Colonial Kitchen has successfully expanded over the past 10 years to include full catering services — with a comprehensive catering menu ready to satisfy any need and any occasion.

Our History

Colonial Kitchen first opened its doors in 1975. Its current owner acquired the business when it occupied only the 103 N. Union address. During the 1990s, as the business continued to grow, an opportunity emerged to expand by purchasing the adjacent building — adding room for growth to the establishment.

The business has been situated at that location ever since, offering a small, cozy dining room for patrons who enjoy an in-house experience, alongside its take-out and delivery service. Over the years, Colonial Kitchen has established itself as a true landmark for the area, built on a foundation of quality food and quality service.

1975
Colonial Kitchen opens its doors at 103 N. Union, serving the community from day one.

1990s
The adjacent building is purchased, expanding the space and allowing for a cozy dine-in dining room.

2000
Christos joins the business, beginning his journey through every role in the operation.

Meet the Owner

Christos F.
General Manager & Executive Chef

Christos has been with Colonial Kitchen since 2000. He holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Sciences from Drexel University. Since his early involvement, Christos has climbed through every position in the restaurant, ultimately rising to his current role as General Manager and Executive Chef — a position he has held for over eight years.

Christos oversees all aspects of the business: human resources, advertising, menu development, social media, quality control, inventory management, and customer relations. He is the nephew of original owner Vasilios Felfelis, and a dedicated steward of the legacy his family built.
